Clinical Expertise You Can Rely on

Two women in professional consultation.

Forensic Mental Health Evaluations (Felony & Civil Cases)

We provide independent, objective forensic mental health evaluations for criminal (felony) and civil litigation. Evaluations are conducted using a multi-method approach that may include clinical interview(s), review of collateral records, and relevant psychological testing when indicated.

Reports integrate a record-review summary and forensic opinions. Consultation with retaining counsel, deposition, and court as requested. Additional services include the creation of ecomaps, genograms, and the development of mitigation themes for court presentations.

Felony (Criminal) Matters May Include

  • Mitigation (capital and felony) and sentencing evaluations (including psychosocial history and risk-relevant factors), and testing when needed
  • Experience traveling to Mexico and Central America for capital mitigation cases
  • Violence risk assessment (when applicable to bond, sentencing, or supervision decisions)

Civil Matters May Include

  • Impact evaluations and reports delineating the emotional distress/psychological damages
  • Personal injury–related psychological sequelae (e.g., trauma-related presentations)

Evaluations for Immigration Cases
